Description: Gossett
Place provides 62 permanent affordable units in the University District neighborhood for homeless individuals and couples, including veterans.
LIHI is partnering with Sound Mental Health to provide supportive
services, including employment, job training and counseling. The apartments were built green and sustainable with several energy efficient features. There
is a no smoking policy to ensure good indoor air quality.
The project has been renamed in honor of
King County Council Chair and human rights champion, Larry Gossett.

How to Apply:
Income must be verifiable as less than 30% of Area Median Income. All applicants must be verified as homeless, and are screened for criminal and residential history, eligibility for clinical services through Sound Mental Health.
Rents are set at affordable limits based upon annual household income. Some units are subsidized by Seattle Housing Authority, with rents based upon a percentage of tenant income.
Placement at Gossett Place is done by referral from Client Care Coordination only and is not directly open to the general population. If you have a social services case manager, please consult with them. For questions please call Sound Mental Health at 206-302-2716
